About Time

Within the span of eternity time is in infinite supply yet, ironically, time is running out.

For the embodied soul, death is certain.

Why do you waste precious moments engaged in useless acts of sense gratification for the temporary body? A body not engaged in guru seva is a liability. Caitanya Mahaprabhu advised us, "Always remember krsna, never forget krsna". One's mind must continually dwell on the name, qualities, pastimes, associates, etc, of the Lord. Only such a person is actually happy.
Nice chronometer above but, as you can see, time has run out; everything reaches its use-by date one way or another. Maybe the same guy that made the Mayan calendar made this one :)

Time and time again

S o, you think you have plenty of time? Think again. Imperceptibly the rising and the setting of the sun robs you of precious time. For those who take birth in this karmic realm, suffering is certain, yet we spend so much time trying to enjoy to "make up" for our suffering which, in turn, creates more suffering, and then, ultimately, death will rob you of your current life and you will get another body based upon the activities of this life. Both happiness and suffering are going on in this life, one after the other, as surely as summer follows springtime, life after life, over and over again. It is not certain what will be next. But one thing is certain, death will come and maybe sooner than you think.

You may have only a moment left to live in this body.

If you are not totally surrendered to the Lord at the time of death, you are bound to accept birth again in ignorance, and while you may, or may not, get a human birth, in any case, suffering will be there. Why prolong the agony? Surrender just now! It's about time you did.

Depending upon what you do in this birth you will receive a body just suitable to your consciousness in the following life. Please do not even try to get a nice body or even to avoid your suffering in the next birth, simply try to out of this cycle of birth and death by chanting
