Notwithstanding the value of Guru-seva and, whilst it is true that our initiation into spiritual life must be the most significant event in our entire existence, it would have to be the time that we spent at the lotus feet of His Divine Grace Srila Gour Govinda Swami (in Bhubaneswar and elsewhere) that remains the most memorable. Vivid impressions of his lotus face and of the words he spoke to us all during his now famous Srimad Bhagavatam and Caitanya Caritamrta lectures, and his mood of bhakti, have become deeply etched into the very fabric of our daily life.

Whilst we would never consider that mere electronic recordings could in any way replace the personal presence of a wonderful sadhu with his gift of sadhu sangha, we are hoping the mp3 lectures and even the pictures that we present here at www. sevamrta .com will allow the listener, at least to some extent, to enter into the blissful mood of hearing the Srimad Bhagavatam in Bhubaneswar from His Divine Grace Srila Gour Govinda Swami.
