krsna-premodgama, premamrta asvadana
krsna-prapti, sevamrta-samudre majjana
The result of chanting is that one awakens his love for Krsna and tastes transcendental bliss. Ultimately, one attains the association of Krsna and engages in His devotional service, as if immersing himself in a great ocean of love.
            Caitanya-Caritamrta. Antya-lila Ch 20 Text 14.
Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakhur states in his Sri Sri Kalyana Kalpa-Taru (The desire tree of auspiciousness), Second branch, Upalabdhi (Attainment of Realization) Part 3 (sambandha-abhideya-prayojana-vijnana), Song 2 Viasnava Truth, verse 5:
jadi caha nityananda pravaha sevite
avirata, guru-padasraya koro' jiva!
nirasa bhajana samudaya parihari'
brahma-cinta adi jata, sada sadha' rati,
kusimite vrindabane sri-rasa mandale
If you ever want to continuously render service to the loving current of eternal bliss, then just take shelter at the feet of a bona fide spiritual master, oh spirit soul! Then rejecting all types of dry, sapless worship which is devoid of appreciation for higher sentiments, please reflect deeply on the nature of the Absolute, and always endeavour to lovingly worship the circle of the divine rasa dance (the rasa mandala) in ever blossoming Vrindavana.
Sevamrta is a collection of sets of webpages all diferent, but all tied together by a common theme ... broadly: bhakti. Each set embodies its own format for both differentiation and ascetic purposes. The goal of the these pages is to assist the devotees in their quest for finding the sweetness of bhakti; if only one devotee is inspired by these efforts, then it has all been worthwhile. We have tried to make something that is good enough to offer to our beloved Gurudevas ... we can merely pray that they will accept our feeble efforts. Being Vaisnavas of the highest order, we are convinced that they will mercifully accept our humble offering.
