Whilst most Sevamrta classes uploaded will be Srila Gour Govinda Swami (my beloved siksa Gurudeva) classes, you will find the occasional Srila Narayana Maharaja (my beautiful, beautiful diksa Gurudeva) class, simply because I like it a lot or for some other reason.
Recently, I was discussing Srila Gurudeva’s book, “A Bouquet of Woeful Entreaties” with one of the local devotees. I mentioned that I had copies of the original mp3 files of these discussions but that I found them too noisy to hear them. My friend said that he also couldn’t hear them, which prompted me to consider trying to do a little restoration on the mp3s to see if they could be made clearer
I believe that the first file has turned out considerably easier to hear, but a perusal of the second file made me decide that it was a hopeless case as so much editing was required to remove extraneous noise as to render voices terribly distorted and almost unintelligible. Not really any improvement; perhaps as my equipment and skillset improves (assuming it does) there will be hope for the Valap-kusmanjali series of discussions that form the basis of Gurudeva’s book.
I’d love to know if you concur with my opinion that the posted file is clearer than the original.
Sri Vilap-kusmanjali 1.mp3 (sorry I changed the original file name to render it more intelligible to humans)
Srila Gurudeva ki jaya!
